1. About these terms

These terms cover the ResellSorted browser extension and resellsorted.co.uk. ResellSorted is run by Raymond Holme, a sole trader based in Scotland, UK ("we", "us"). Contact: hello@resellsorted.co.uk. By installing or using ResellSorted you agree to these terms.

2. What ResellSorted does

ResellSorted reads your own sold items from Vinted when you press Sync, works out profit from the costs you enter, tracks the HMRC platform-reporting limit and summarises your figures by UK tax year.

3. Not tax or financial advice

ResellSorted organises figures and explains general rules. It is not tax, legal or financial advice, and it doesn't know your full circumstances. Figures depend on the data Vinted provides and the amounts you enter, and tax rules change. You're responsible for checking your figures and your tax return. If you're unsure, check GOV.UK or speak to an accountant.

4. Vinted

ResellSorted is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Vinted. It only reads your own sold items while you're logged in, and never lists, bumps, messages or buys anything. Vinted can change its website at any time, which may stop syncing from working until we release an update. We'll fix problems as quickly as we reasonably can, but we can't guarantee syncing will always be available. Use ResellSorted only with your own Vinted account, and in line with Vinted's terms.

5. Your data

Your sales, costs and expenses are stored in your browser on your computer. We don't hold a copy, so we can't recover them if they're lost. Use the backup option in Settings. Our privacy policy explains how data is handled.

6. Free to use, and donations

ResellSorted is free, with every feature included. You can choose to make a donation through Ko-fi. Donations are entirely voluntary gifts: they don't unlock anything, buy any service, or create any obligation for us to provide support or updates. Ko-fi's terms apply to the payment. If you donate by mistake, email us within 14 days and we'll refund it.

7. Acceptable use

Don't copy or resell ResellSorted, or use it to break any law or Vinted's terms.

8. Our responsibility to you

If we fail to meet these terms, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We're not responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable, for business losses, or for tax, penalties or interest arising from figures you didn't check. Apart from that, our total responsibility is limited to £50, or the total of any donations you made in the 12 months before the problem if that is more.

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

9. Changes and ending

We may update ResellSorted and these terms, and we'll update the date at the top when we do. You can stop using ResellSorted at any time by uninstalling it.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring proceedings in the courts where you live, and you keep the consumer protections of your local law.
